The big problem I have with traditional kayaks is getting them to the water. Sure if you have your kayak docked near where you paddle its fine, but even then to get it anywhere else is difficult to say the least. I suggest this little number from Infinity Inflatable Kayaks. Inflates in less than 10 minutes and fits in just about any vehicle. This really is a great way to bring the joy of Kayaking to any lake or slow moving river. Check it out!
This game is in development by Hairbrained Schemes. This studio consists of veterans of the gaming industry that have created such titles as Shadowrun and MechWarrior. This team has created some great IP’s over the years and I want to help get the word out about Shadowrun Returns, please check out the Kickstarter page here to learn more about the project.
Google’s Project Glass looks to be a giant step forward in the field of augmented reality and gives me a great amount of joy as I have been following this technology for several years. The potential applications are amazing for this product as seen in their promotional video. I just hope they leave the design of the final product to the teams at Oakley.
BioLite CampStove is a small package with huge utility. This little guy uses sticks, pine cones, pellets pretty much any biomass to bring heat for cooking or comfort on your many outdoor adventures. The feature that put this device over the top for me was the ability to charge my phone or any other USB device by converting heat from the fire into usable electricity. This device is great for camping, backpacking or the end of the world! Check out the video.

New Balance Newsky Wellness Shoe is based on New Balance’s Minimus design and is made with recycled materials. Looks great and feels good what else can you ask for? The Minimus Line has not been around for very long but I do think it is high time we take minimal footwear outside of running and fitness. Well done New Balance!
Paper is such a simple and elegant app with great design and function. This app was developed by several team members of the canceled Microsoft Courier. They keep many of the innovative aspects of the Courier and bring it to the iPad. Microsoft really dropped the ball by not pursuing this teams innovative ideas and I look forward to what Fifty Three will produce in the future.
